Elected House Captains and Representatives worked collectively with Directors to develop leadership skills, while also hearing from keynote speaker, LouCity Head Coach Danny Cruz and goalkeeper, Ryan Troutman '18, who shared advice on effective leadership strategies.

On Tues., Sept. 24 Trinity continued its Pride Week traditions by celebrating the 1953 Society Dinner. Named after the year Trinity was founded, this gathering recognizes generous donors who give at the 1953 Society level each year and volunteer board members. Dr. Glenn Blincoe '73 was named the Steiny Award Recipient and Chris Tompkins '78 was honored as the Leadership Donor. Senior Nick Lococo provided a student address. Go Rocks!

On Saturday, Sept. 21, sophomore Ali Aljabbari, a member of Trinity’s Culinary Club, assisted his mother and aunt presenting at the Louisville Free Public Library and Kentucky Refugee Ministries’ Celebrating Our Neighborhood: The Cuisine of Iraq event at the Northeast Regional Library. The event was sold out and featured short lessons in Iraqi cooking traditions and recipes. Louisville is home to over 53,000 internationally born residents including Ali’s family. Congratulations and thanks for sharing a part of your culture with all.

The Trinity Sports Administration class assisted the LouCity/Racing Foundation in preparation for their upcoming "Soccer Ball Benefit" by inflating over 50+ soccer balls for use as giveaways. It was a fun-filled activity that allowed students to gain a hands-on perspective of the tactical side of sports administration.

Congratulations to Coach Holzknecht and the Trinity Cross Country Rocks for capturing first place in the highly competitive Trinity Invitational seeded race for the second straight year! The team also won the freshman/sophomore division and the junior/senior division races. A GreaT all-around team win and a GreaT event that welcomed 4,000 runners and 7,000 fans. Go Rocks!
