Congratulations to Trinity junior, Brayden Sills, for scoring a composite 36 on his ACT! With Brayden's perfect score, Trinity students have now earned 11 perfect composite ACT scores since the Class of 2019. A composite score represents the average of four subject scores from one ACT attempt. We are so proud of you, Brayden!
The Junior Formal will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 8 to 11 p.m. in Shamrock Gym. Tickets for the dance are $40 per couple or $20 for an individual ticket. Tickets will be on sale from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 10. Tickets can be purchased in the Academic Services Office during second or third lunches or after school. Attire is semi-formal. The Trinity Spring Concerts will be held May 10 at 7 p.m. and May 12 at 3 p.m. in the Auditorium. This year’s theme will feature “Movies, Games, and TV: Music from our Screens”! No ticket is required to attend these concerts, they are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Come out and support our talented Rocks on stage!
As part of our holistic approach to education, students attend Character Talks focused on being a man of faith and character. On April 22, seniors heard from alumnus Daniel McCarthy '15 who shared insight about transitioning into college and a career while upholding the ideals he learned at Trinity. Thursday, April 25, will be a $1 Dress Down Day benefitting SOS. SOS collects and sends medical supplies to developing countries and communities in need. Students can dress down for $1, or more, in jeans/khakis, a Trinity shirt/jacket/hoodie, and athletic/dress shoes. T-shirts must be tucked in. Seniors can wear clothing from the college they are attending next year. Money will be collected during advising.
The Key Club hosted a charity car show at Trinity raising money for the Franciscan Kitchen and Hope Scarves. With over 100 cars on display, we loved seeing everybody who came out to support a great cause! Thank you to those who helped make this a GreaT event!
Trinity will assist American Red Cross by holding their second blood drive of the year in Shamrock Hall on Wed. Apr. 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Students 16 years of age or older are eligible to donate. Parents and other family members are welcome to participate. Mr. Joey Wagner, Owner and President of the JWagner group, came and spoke with Coach Helfrich's p439 Intro to Sports Administration class today about marketing in sports. Mr. Wagner shared his amazing story with the class of how he turned his passion for working in event planning, to leading and hosting multiple events around town and partnering with some of the city's biggest names and sport clients. He also gave some wonderful insight into marketing and tips that the students can utilize in the industry, as well as some other great tips that they could use in their own personal lives. It was a wonderful discussion that led into some great Q & A's that left the students wishing we had more time with Mr. Wagner.
Trinity's annual Mother-Son Mass and Brunch took place in Steinhauser Gym on Sunday , April 14. Trinity Chaplain Fr. Dave Zettel '58 celebrated the Mass, which was coordinated by Campus Ministry, and honored the special bond between mothers and sons. There was also a brunch in Alumni Hall following Mass. Thank you to all those who attended.

A group of students and faculty traveled to Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, IN, home of the Sisters of St. Benedict, to witness the breathtaking solar eclipse in its full totality. In addition to watching this special occurrence, they are taking it one step further by collecting eclipse glasses to share with an organization who helps distribute to countries in Latin America for their upcoming eclipse in October.

The Easter Bunny visited Trinity on Saturday, Mar. 23 for our annual Trinity Alumni-Family Easter Egg Hunt! We loved seeing all the smiling faces of children and their families as the kids collected Easter eggs and took pictures with the Easter Bunny while the families enjoyed coffee, doughnuts and fellowship. A special thanks to the Alumni Association for organizing this GREAT event!
