Congratulations to Trinity Swim and Dive Coach Mike Essig '85 and Trinity Bowling Coach John McCarthy '07 for winning NFHS Coach of the Year honors for the 2022-23 school year! Coach Essig was named Kentucky Boys Swim Coach of the Year and Coach McCarthy was named Kentucky Boys Bowling Coach of the Year.
On Fri., Oct. 13 the Football Rocks host Eastern with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Following the game, members of the varsity team will be available on the field for poster signing. Can't attend? The Trinity Soccer Rocks will host Kentucky Country Day (KCD) in the Seventh Region quarterfinals on Sunday, Oct. 8. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. The gate will open at 6:15 p.m. Admission will be $10 cash at the gate or a GoFan digital ticket. ONLY Ballard and Trinity students can enter the game. Students from both schools must show a school ID along with their ticket to enter. All other students and/or children must enter with an adult guardian.
No fans will be admitted in to the stadium after the end of the second quarter.
On Monday, Oct. 9, Mr. Harris and Mr. Dotsey will be holding an informational meeting for parents who are interested in their son attending the June 2025 trip to France and Italy. The meeting will be held in the Trinity Library at 6:30 p.m. Interested parents are highly encouraged to attend this important informational session.

Trinity Head Coach Bowling, John McCarthy ’07, has been named the Boys Bowling Coach of the Year for the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the 2022-2023 school year. The award is decided by the NFHS Coaches Association. John and the Trinity Bowling squad are the reigning KHSAA state champions. They are excited to get back to work for the 2023-2024 season which begins later this month.
Good luck to Trinity’s Brandon Pfaadt ’17 (now a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks) who will pitch Game 1 of the National League Wild Card against the Milwaukee Brewers. Trinity Forever!

TOMORROW, September 14, will be our first $1 Dress Down Day benefitting Catholic Relief Services to help with the Maui wildfires and Hurricane Idalia relief efforts. All students, faculty, and staff can dress down for $1, or more, following our normal dress down rules- a Trinity shirt/hoodie/jacket, jeans/khakis, athletic/dress shoes. Money will be collected during advising and collected by house captains.
Signups are now open for this year’s Trinity Archery team. Archery is a sanctioned KHSAA sport and Trinity is competitive at both the regional and state level. If you are interested in joining this growing sport, contact Mr. Rapp in F141 or at rapp@trinityrocks.com with questions. No prior archery experience is necessary. There will be a meeting for all archers and parents Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 P.M. in Alumni Hall.
