YASS Brohm Family

The Young Alumni Shamrock Society (YASS) held a social event on Thursday evening, February 29. The Brohm family – Greg ’88, Jeff ’89, Brian ’04 and Oscar H’08 – spoke to the group about success and overcoming adversity. More than 50 alumni attended the event at Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint.

Jeff is the head football coach at the University of Louisville. Greg is director of football operations and Brian is offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Oscar is a longtime assistant coach for Trinity’s football program. Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint is owned by Trinity alumnus David Glass ’89.

Alumni who graduated in the last 15 years – classes of 2008-23 – are invited to join an influential group of young, vibrant leaders who are helping to provide the Trinity experience to future generations of Shamrocks. In addition to supporting Trinity, the YASS benefits our brother alumni. Full YASS members make an annual gift of $250 or more to the Trinity Annual Fund.

The YASS hosts quarterly events each year that provide opportunities for networking and socializing. Members of the YASS will receive the following benefits:

  • A Young Alumni Shamrock Society lapel pin
  • Invitations to young alumni events
  • Recognition in The Leader magazine and Annual Report
  • Invitation to Trinity’s Opening Mass in August
  • Two complimentary tickets to the 1953 Society Dinner held during Pride Week
