Saturday, Feb. 24, Head Coach Mike Essig '85, Moderator Wayne Kraus '85, Associate AD Jimmy Wadell '05, and the Swim & Dive Rocks finished as STATE RUNNER-UP at the KHSAA State Meet in Lexington.
The team earned State Runner-up in the 400yd Free Relay and 200yd IM Relay while winning a STATE TITLE in the 200yd Free Relay.
Senior Sawyer Tapp had a standout day, medaling in two relays, finishing State Runner-up in the 100yd Backstroke, and winning the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in the 50yd Free.
This marks the team’s second straight State Runner-up finish—congratulations to the staff and student-athletes on another incredible season.
