Freshman Retreat

Dear Freshman Parents and Freshmen,

Your son will soon be attending his Freshman Retreat. The retreat focuses on Connections - how can my actions or inactions affect those around me? The day focuses on team building and low ropes courses led by a staff member of Cedar Ridge and supervised by a Trinity faculty member. The day is built around the Parable of the Good Samaritan. It will also serve as a welcome to the Trinity Family. I want to share some information about the retreat with you.

  • Retreat days are by House:

    • September 16- Aquinas and Becket

    • September 17- Dante and Flannan

    • September 18- Gonzaga and Merton

    • September 19- Patrick and Romero

    • September 20- Seton and Toussaint

  • Full school day off campus at Cedar Ridge Camp in Jeffersontown

    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday- 8:00-2:50

    • Wednesday- 9:00-2:50

    • Friday- 8:00-2:00

  • There is no fee for the retreat.

  • Bus transportation and lunch provided

    • Lunch will be pizza.

    • Please bring your own food if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies.

  • Dress down for the day including shorts or athletic pants.

  • Wear older shoes that could get some mud or dirt on them.

  • Bring a water bottle filled with water.

  • Permission forms on the parent portal of PowerSchool must be completed before the retreat.

    • Use web version and not PowerSchool App

    • A green leaf next to the form indicates it has been completed

  • Students will be divided into 5 groups for the day, accompanied by a Trinity faculty member.
