Trinity will formally open the school year with Mass for our community at 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, in Steinhauser Gym.
This is a time for us to pause, celebrate the start of a new school year, and ask for God’s blessing on the Trinity community. All students are expected to attend.
That morning, students will report to Advising class by the 8 a.m. bell.
After attendance is taken, they will move to the gym and sit with their Advising class in assigned locations. Seniors will sit in chairs on the floor of the gym.
Dismissal for the day will be around 10am.
No classes will be held after mass. The cafeteria will be open until noon for students waiting for a ride.
This is a special occasion, so students are encouraged to wear a sport coat.
Parents are also welcome to attend. Please park in one of the campus parking lots on Sherrin Ave., and the lot at CrossRoads Church (across Shelbyville Road) will be open. Do not park in lots on St. Matthews Ave., including MorrisPointe (Quills, Drakes etc) and next to Highland Morning. Your car will be towed.
