Dennis E. Lampley, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on July 9, surrounded by his family. Dennis spent 47 years as a teacher, coach and athletic director at Trinity High School, where he carved a legendary career in high school football and mentoring and molding generations of young men.
Visitation will be Friday, July 12, from 2-7 p.m. at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY 40207.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at the Steinhauser Gymnasium at Trinity High School, 4011 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40207. Interment will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
A reception at Trinity’s Communications Arts Center, 115 North Sherrin Avenue, Louisville KY, 40207, will follow the interment.
Parking will be available on Trinity's campus along with the north lot owned by Morris Point near Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust.
