The Trinity Academic Team made school history by winning Region 7 for the fourth consecutive year! The Rocks amassed 47.5 points between quick recall, FPS, and written testing. That is the highest mark the Academic Team has achieved in almost 30 years!
The FPS team of Emerson Cardoza ’24, Leo McCallister ’24, Carson Song ’25, and Jason Bui ’25, under first-year coach Nolan Lawson, placed third and did not advance to state but had a great year and are building for the future!
The quick recall team of captain Liam Amick ’25, Will Yorgy ’24, Leo Reinhart ’25, and Jason Bui ’25 won region for the first time since 2016 and only the second time since 1997. The team was without John Oliver ’24 (illness) but got meaningful backup minutes from Parker Glass ’24, Aidan Lambert ’27, and Brady Sipes ’25, among others.
In testing, the following students placed and will advance to state. The testing performance was so strong, it alone would have won the region!

Math – Junior Jason Bui 2nd
Science – Senior Parker Glass 1st, Senior Will Yorgy 2nd, and Senior John Oliver 4th.
