Dare to Care Service Project

Trinity is once again partnering with Dare to Care for our first House service project. The mission of Dare to Care Food Bank is to lead the community to feed the hungry and conquer the cycle of need. Dare to Care partners with local social service agencies, such as food pantries, shelters, and emergency kitchens to distribute food in the community. In the past year, Dare to Care and their partners provided 21.7 million meals to the community.

Dare to Care also fights hunger through programs targeting the most vulnerable in our communities. Trinity is teaming with Dare to Care to help support that fight by collecting money to help provide for families in need and volunteering at the Dare to Care Food Distribution Center.

From Monday, Sept. 18 through Tuesday, Oct. 3, we will collect money during Advising periods. Our goal is to have each student donate $5. Tuesday, Oct. 24, Nov. 14, and Nov. 28, groups of ten students (one from each House) and two faculty volunteers will visit Dare to Care’s Food Distribution Center to help sort its food pantry.

Let's be ALL IN for this service project, Rocks!
