2025 Trinity Soccer Tryout Information

2025 Tryouts are on Monday, July 21, Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23 at Marshall Stadium on Trinity's Campus. You are expected to attend all sessions. 

Freshman: 6 - 7:30PM
JV/V: 7:30 - 9PM

Tryout results will be posted at 3PM on Thursday, July 24 here: https://www.trinityrocks.com/o/ths/page/soccer. A mandatory program meeting (parents and players should attend) will be held on Thursday evening, July 24 at 6PM for those who make a team in Steinhauser Gym on campus. 

Please bring a ball, water, wear black shorts and a WHITE shirt, and be sure you to bring an updated physical with you (you will be unable to try out without it). The physical form can be located here: https://www.trinityrocks.com/documents/athletics/431329.

This is a CLOSED tryout. Parents - please drop your son off at the gate. We will have staff on site to check-in players. 

What can I do to prepare for tryouts?

Please come to tryouts having pre-registered and bring a current physical with you. You should come in physical shape with a positive attitude and blue-collar work ethic. Be sure to put yourself in a position to succeed by arriving at least 15 minutes early, introducing yourself to the coaching staff, and getting yourself in a position you are comfortable in when playing. 

What should I wear to tryouts?

Please wear black shorts, black socks, and a white shirt. Please refrain from wearing club related gear. 

 How many players typically make each team?

There is no set # of players that will make each team. We strive to create a competitive performance environment in training that will prepare us for games. Historically, that has meant anywhere from 20-30 players per team, dependent on ability.
